Is there a way to immediately start a new transaction after pressing Enter on a just added transaction other than Command-N?

    I'm a fellow user.

Type using the menu option File --> Preferences and on the General tab select Auto-create new transactions and see if that does what you want.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I did have this preference selected and it’s working as I want this morning. There is no telling what I was doing wrong last night when I kept having to use Command-N to get a new blank transaction.
