I just purchased moneydance and am trying to set up accounts and import data from my downloaded Quicken QIF files. It isn't working and I need guidance.

Please advise.

When should I expect a reply from Infinite Kind Staff? Is this Live Chat?

These are post and reply forum discussions, responses will be more email like in terms of speed.

Perhaps you can elaborate more on what you have done what results you have achieved, if any, any error messages you are getting etc.

    Hi Stacey,

When importing your data, if the QIF file format is available to you when exporting from Quicken, you should follow these steps. In particular make sure you specify to Import into a new account rather than an existing account. And you set the source to "From another program".
It is highly recommended to export all Quicken data into a single QIF file, as doing so makes the import process much smoother. Please use the option in Quicken to export "all accounts" if available. The one exception to this is if you have accounts in more than one currency - if thats the case, then you can follow these steps to import multiple QIF files.

The more information you can provide about the issues you've encountered, the easier it'll be for us to establish whats happening during the import process. You may also wish to refer to this article which details the most common issues after importing, and how to resolve.

For some reason, only transactions from this year (starting January 1st)
are transferring from my QIF downloads. Do you have any troubleshooting
    for that?

Also, how do i download information from my B of A website to Moneydance?
I've downloaded transactions for the last six months of 2015 to both QIF
and QFX files but they go to my dropbox since I have it synced. How do I
get them from my dropbox to Moneydance accounts?
