Upgrade from MD2012.5
Completely happy with current version except when saving a report with limited HTML, tab, comma delimited options. But I've evolved workarounds for that since installing many moons ago.
If I upgrade to MD2017 I presume I will then be able to export to PDF (and others) for instance.
I basically mainly import QIFs and rarely need to manually enter data. Should MD2017 suffice? Is the user interface very similar to MD2012, will there be an upgrade cost ? I note MD2012 only occupies 63MB memory (RAM), will MD2017 be as lightweight (I run a small Windows 8.1 on a hybrid transformer system limited to 2GB)? Small MD2017 memory footprint is important factor inn this case.
I will read MD2017 user guide when I locate it if that is preferred version to upgrade to. Is there anywhere that all MD versions and specs are maintained. Thanks B.

I'm a fellow user.
No version of Moneydance has an export to PDF option. It is typical to create a report and then use the capability of the operating system to print to a PDF.
You can no longer buy a Moneydance 2017 license, it has not been possible to buy a license for this version for some years. The only version that can be purchased today is Moneydance 2022.
Company produced User Guides as a manual were discontinued after the 2015 version, The guide now takes the form of a Knowledge Base which has an entry point of:

I would expect later versions to use more memory than earlier releases. Features have been added and the data structure is quite different to MD 2012.
