Questions about MD2016
Hi and sorry for these questions:
1) When MD2016 will be released?
2) MD2016 will be a web version or an app? Anyway a web versione is planned in the next months?
3) i have an old "macupdate" discount but i see that now is not valid :)

Andrea
1) It will be released when it is ready. We have a policy of not publishing artificial deadlines fro release.
2) No, we are focussed on desktop and mobile for Moneydance.
3) I am not quite sure what you mean here.

Hi Andrea,
1) When you purchase MD2015, then MD2016 will be a free upgrade (when available). Any future versions will also be discounted. However, we never 'sunset' older versions of the software, so you can continue to use the same version for as long as you wish.
2) Moneydance supports automatic downloads via Direct Connect, and you can view a list of banks that support this feature here. Without Direct Connect, the best way to get your files into Moneydance is to use a web browser to download them from your bank's web site. You can download into QFX, OFX or OFC files (aka Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance.
3) Although you can add attachments in the main desktop version of the software, this is not currently possible with the mobile app. There's an existing ticket in our ticketing system with your suggestion, so I've attached it to this discussion and the developers will be looking into it.
4) You can use Dropbox to sync your data between two computers running Moneydance. You can follow the steps in this article to move your entire data set to your Dropbox folder, this is a 'yourfilename'.moneydance file/folder.
If you'd like to setup syncing with a mobile device, the steps differ, and you can find instructions for this here.
