2022.5(4091) is the current version and a preliminary 2022.6(xxxx) is due out soon.

MD has skipped years occasionally - which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as you buy a certain year copy at full price, get the next released year free, and the year after that (if you WANT to upgrade) at half price (and then the next year free again)

That assumes you buy direct - other sellers have their own policies.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/574754822023-01-09T05:06:21Z2023-01-09T05:06:21ZWhen is the 2023 version ready?

TIK (Moneydance) typically does not provide any release time frames, that is just the company's policy.

We know that 2022.6 is due soon because the developer has said so to a group of us. It looks to be primary comprised of Moneydance+ set up fixes, but I'm sure one or two other fixes will be included as per usual.

As for 2023, none of us know when that is due or even if there will be a 2023 version, Sean has been trying to release a version each year in recent times, but it could be at any time during the year if it does occur.

As for what could be in the next major release, I think most of us could offer nothing more than wild speculation :).

dwg
