MDinternal
I cannot open this file and I need to restore MD to an earlier version. How do I open it?

Nope. When I double click on root.mdinternal-2016-06-07 I get a msg form Windows saying that it cannot open this file. It wants to know what program to use to open it.

Got your ans. Did not work. I've found the file root.mdinternal-2016-06-07 but windows cannot open it. It's asking for the program to use to open it.

Hello,
What version of Moneydance are you using? It sounds like you are using Moneydance 2012 or 2014? If so, please follow the instructions at http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/moneydance-2014/how-to-restore-from... to restore a checkpoint file. You will need to move the file and rename it as those instructions explain.
