If not invading security - maybe upload a piece of the QIF file where the problems are occurring?

You didn't post the "following error" you mention. That would help as well.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/588528522023-05-07T01:46:00Z2023-05-07T01:46:00ZErrors importing .qif from Banktivity 7 to Moneydance 2023

I'm a fellow user.

In the long run I expect we will need to see a sample of a QIF file that causes the problem.

In itself QIF is a nice simple format, but some vendors have been known to not follow the specifications when creating the files or to be creative and try to include things that are outside the specification. It is only by examining such files that the problem(s) can be identified.

Ideally a small QIF file that causes the problem is ideal, large files can create quite a volume of data to sift through.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/588528522023-05-07T11:15:14Z2023-05-07T11:15:15ZErrors importing .qif from Banktivity 7 to Moneydance 2023

This is the error message

The Moranstag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/588528522023-05-08T00:00:56Z2023-05-08T05:34:44ZErrors importing .qif from Banktivity 7 to Moneydance 2023

The error is saying that you cannot have a negative number or something that is not a number for the value of a rate.

In the context of a QIF file, rate means price, so you should not have a negative price and the importer is saying there is a negative price in the file, hence it errors.

dwg
