Better documentation for importing CSV

Hi - I just spent several hours trying to import a CSV file (from a bank that only offers that export option) into a bank account. Finally figured it out! But it was a ragged process. In short:
- the Text Importer didn't work for me, I could never get the data to properly line up
- I "discovered" the CSV extention (kind of stumbled upon it in one of the discussion threads)
- Wrestled with that for too long, my import file was "unsupported" before stumbling upon another thread which had the answer - had to change the date format, using forward slashes instead of dashes (year/month/date).

Glad it worked! but may I suggest that the latest steps for importing CSV be better documented? Especially with regards to pointing out there's a CSV extension out there to import (which I used to have, but seemed to have lost it when I just upgraded to MD2015) I never found updated guidance in one place. Maybe I missed it?

The "CSV Importer" extension is made by a third party, which is why there's currently no documentation. We're in the process of updating our knowledge base articles so I'll ensure this is addressed.

The CSV Importer was not compatible with Moneydance 2015, however, the developer of the extension re-wrote the program so that it's now compatible. You'll need to download the CSV Importer file from the developer's website here -

Thank you Jenny. Yes, that's the extension I imported and used. Yes,
updating the knowledge base would be very helpful. Thanks
