Want to switch from Quicken. Need to know:
1) How do you price bonds and securities without a ticker symbol (Quicken pulls from your financial institution during a download session)
2) Need direct connectivity with UBS and Citi (credit card). Do you support without cost (iBank has a hefty fee)

Hello,
I apologize for the delay in our reply; somehow your message slipped by us.
Moneydance can indeed get recent price information from your financial institution if they include this information in their investment downloads. You'll probably have to see what your financial institutions include in their downloads for these particular securities.
If you haven't already, I encourage you to download our free trial version from http://infinitekind.com/downloads and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test things like importing from other programs and connections with your bank. If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions.
In case you haven't found it yet, our full user guide can be downloaded from http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/user-guides
