files available to uplaod
My financial institution only lets me download into excel files. I am using a mac in canada is there a way to upload transactions from my accounts?

Hello,
Try installing the Text File Importer from the Extensions menu in the Moneydance menu bar. You will need to save the file in a CSV format, and then use the extension to specify which column contains what data.
If your bank has any other kind of download, those would be much easier to import. You can download into QFX, OFX, OFC, or QIF files (sometimes referred to as Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance. CSV files have no standard formatting, so they are often difficult to import into other programs.
