Clean install
When installing Moneydance it added accounts that I have in another financial software application. I prefer start from scratch, how can i perform a clean install that has no accounts to begin with?

File/New will start a new file.
Also, Moneydance does not add accounts that you have in another financial software application upon installation. Only you can do that.

Hello,
I agree with the above comment. Perhaps you tried out Moneydance a few years ago and decided not to use it, but when you reinstalled it, it found your earlier data files? I've seen that happen a few times.
In any case, File -> New allows you to create a new data file.

Ethan,
I believe that must be case, there was a time several years ago when I was looking into other financial software applications and I likely gave Moneydance a try and simply don't recall. I started up a new file and all is good. Thanks!
