Initial account setup problem
I'm in the process of setting up Moneydance. I imported about 3 months of data from Quicken for my checking account using a QIF file and am using Moneydance+ for downloads. That seems to be working. It seems that I have all the transactions there, but I'm having trouble balancing. Here's a particularly unusual issue: I set the beginning balance in the account using the Quicken balance just before the first downloaded transaction. After just the first transaction, the balance looks to be about $60 off. The beginning balance - first payment should = new resultant balance ... but it doesn't. At the top of the register I'm "Showing: All Transactions". I assume there must be a hidden transaction, but am not sure how to identify it. Thank you in advance for your help!

There are only two potential hidden balances in Moneydance. These are:
- Initial Balance
- Balance Adjustment
Both of these are on the Account information screen that you access through the Moneydance Edit Account option.

I had a "cockpit problem". Sorry about that. I appreciate your response.
