Update Security pricing
Hi,
I have shares on the NZX (New Zealand Stock exchange), I want to update a new price point for the security, but cannot find how to do this manually.

Tools like the Quote Loader extension can do this automatically for you, but if you want to do it manually it can be done.
The inbuilt method is a bit of a pain to be honest, the best tool to enter new prices manually in my option is the Security Price Entry extension.
Using the Moneydance menu option Extensions => Manager Extensions. Security Price Entry should be one of the extensions list you can install. Installation will add another option to your Extensions menu.

If you want to try letting Quote Loader retrieve prices automatically as dwg suggests try the extension Quote Loader under EXTENSIONS – MANAGE EXTENSION

The Quick Start Video is intended to give a quick overview so the user can see if Quite loader looks like it could work for them. The Short Video expands the user’s knowledge giving more detail. The Full Video goes even further but may be too wordy for some.
The PDF reinforces what’s leaned in the videos, provides step by step instructions, a must read and provide answers on how to handle less obvious issues some users may come across.
Let us know how you get on or if you need help just post. If any securities return an error then post your base currency, the Ticker, full Security Name and last price you have and its traded currency or just post a screen shot of the Quote Loader windows after you click GET PRICES.
