I accidentally created a new account instead of importing my Quicken data. When I open Moneydance I get the Account screen. When I click on File/Import it asks for Object Name and Objects of Type. I don't know what to enter.

When you select Import... from the File Menu it asks for the name of file to import.

From Quicken the best type of file to import is a QIF file which you must create using Quicken, no software will import Quicken's proprietary QDF data file.

    Hello,

You can read more about importing from Quicken at: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/importing-data-from-other-pro...

If that doesn't answer your question, try to describe in a bit more detail what you are trying to do, and where you are getting stuck in the process.
