when i import a csv file made from moneyspire all the transactions are recorded as payments out when some are payments in. They are shown in separate columns on the csv file. How do i solve this problem

In the Moneydance importer you need to assign one column as credits and one as debits.

I would suggest it would be better to export QIF files from Moneyspire.

    Hi Malcolm,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

I can see you’ve received a reply from one of our knowledgeable Moneydance customers. To add to this useful information I thought it's worth mentioning that when you import a QIF file from Moneyspire you should ensure that the box to "Import from another program" is selected, if you do not do this categories and tags are ignored.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Managed to sort and import everything thanks. Just trying another, cheaper, programme to see which I like best. Money dance is winning at the moment
