<p>To clarify how tags work in Moneydance 2015, since they've
changed slightly, but the functionality that they provide is the
same. Here are some instructions for working with tags - You can
enter tags simply by typing them into the tags field on a
transaction and you can tag a transaction with multiple tags by
separating them with a comma. For example, typing:</p>
<p>tag1,tag2</p>
<p>into the tag field of a transaction will tag that transaction
with the tags tag1 and tag2. From there, you can work with tags in
much the same way as in previous versions.</p>
<p>You can see a list of all your tags by going to the Tag Summary
report, which can be found by scrolling down the left sidebar
column or by navigating to Tools --> Graphs and Reports. Can you
check this for me, and let me know if any tags have imported?</p>
<p>Do you still have your older Moneydance 2010 data set on your
system? This is the <em>'yourfilename'.md</em> file/folder. If so,
please take a copy of this file, and try upgrading through the
Moneydance versions, to see if you have better luck successfully
importing the tags. You can download MD2012 from <a href="http://infinitekind.com/previous-versions-of-moneydance">here</a>
which will convert the data to a new format. Then, try upgrading
again to the new MD2015 format and hopefully your data will import
correctly.</p>
