Import formats
I would like to switch to Moneydance but my many years of records are only available in csv or xls(x) formats. Can Moneydance import these?

Yes you can import CSV into all account types except investment accounts, please refer to the knowledge base article at:

There is also a third party CSV importer it can be found at:
https://github.com/stant/mdcsvimporter2015/releases
