Hi Andrew,
If you're using Moneydance for the first time, we'd recommend looking through the 'Getting Started' knowledge base articles. If you're using Moneydance 2017, you can find further information about Moneydance features in these articles.
If you're moving from other personal finance software, you'll find articles here that detail the steps. Generally, you'll need to export your data in QIF format before importing into Moneydance.
I'd be happy to provide assistance if you need help getting setup or have further questions.
