downloading from banks - nationwide and nat west
when logged onto nationwide account if i choose download - do i need a CSV or an OFX file? i tried both, but neither appeared on my screen into my nationwide account. i'd appreciate your help

Hi Ann,
We recommend using either OFX or QFX files (or QIF files) for importing your data whenever possible. OFX and QFX files are the best format, with QIF files being the second best and CSV files being a distant third. The import process for CSV files is much more involved that any other standard format.
You should download your data into OFX format. This will save a .OFX file to your system, which you can then import by either opening Moneydance and dragging the downloaded file into the Moneydance program window, or by navigating within Moneydance to File --> Import. You'll find screenshots of the import window in this article.
