Error when importing new account set
Hi,
I just purchased Moneydance and want to import my quicken QIF file into it. When I click on "Import new account set" and chose the file I get an error message "Error reading file: java.lang.NullPointerException". I've tried using a file with all my Quicken accounts, and files with each individual account and get the same message for all.

Hi Mike,
Sorry to hear of the issue you have encountered. Are you trying to import this data via the Moneydance Welcome Window. We have had reports that the current build of Moneydance encounters difficulty when trying to import from the Welcome Screen, the developers are working to rectify this.
In the meantime, can you select 'Create a new account set' and then create a new blank data set. Once the blank data set has opened, can you navigate to File --> Import and attempt to import your QIF file this way?
Please let me know if you continue to encounter difficulties using the method described above.
