A few questions
Don't laugh, but after 20 years I still use Microsoft Money. It has been invaluable, but as it is unsupported & very sluggish I am thinking of changing to Moneydance. I need to know a few things.
1. Does it run as a 'stand alone' application or is internet connectivity vital?
2. Will I be able to use it on my desk PC as well as my notebook.
3. Where is the account data stored?
4. Is backup & recovery easy?
5. I read in one of your discussions that Australian banks do not allow downloading of account data to Moneydance. I guess this means I would have to start from scratch, keying transactions in. (I intend to make a clean break at the end of the tax year).
6.If I get the free download - then decide to buy it, will the work I have done remain?
