I'm considering switching to Moneydance from my current accounting software because I want to be able to input transactions (via mobile App) while away from my home computer. I also want my home computer to update from my mobile App. I will primarily use my current software to track several checking, savings and money market accounts. I also would like to track investment accounts as well. All my entries would be manual, so links to the actual accounts is not a factor. I'm currently using and android phone and Microsoft on my desktop.
Is your software appropriate for what I'd like to do?

    Hi,

I believe that Moneydance should more than fit your needs. However If you haven't already, I encourage you to download our free trial version and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test importing your data.
If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions. You can download the trial version of Moneydance from here:

As you are new to Moneydance I would also like to direct you towards the Getting Started section of our Knowledge Base. Here you will find articles that demonstrate the basic functions and features of Moneydance.
To set up syncing with the Moneydance mobile app, you can follow the steps outlined in this article.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
