credit lines and cards date through qif files. banks here do not
support the more advanced synchronizing systems.</p>
<p>I also need to import my data from Money and from Quiken.</p>
<p>I want to be able to tailor the reports to my needs, example
rents paid for one specific apartments. I have been trying out
Quiken but it does not import by qif from checking and savings, did
not pull up all the category list I had in Money and I am having
problems to make the reports I need.<br>
can your program meet these needs?</p></div>Aixza B Gonzaleztag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/375538732015-08-03T19:19:14Z2015-08-03T19:19:15Zconsidering to purchase this program <div><p>the articles seems to indicate that I can use the qif files to

<p>If you haven't already, I encourage you to download our free
trial version and experiment with the program before you decide if
you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional
and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported
transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test
connections with your bank. If you decide to purchase the program
at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply
unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions. You can
download the trial version of Moneydance from <a href="http://infinitekind.com/downloads">this page</a>.</p>
<p>For more information on how to get the most out of your trial
period, check out our <a href="http://infinitekind.com/blog/getting-the-most-out-of-your-moneydance-trial">
blog post on the subject</a>.</p>
<p>Yes, Moneydance is able to import data from your financial
institutions in QIF import.<br>
It is also possible to import your historical data from Quicken and
Money. You can find instructions on how to import data from other
programs on <a href="http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/importing-data-from-banks-and-other-programs">
this page</a></p>
<p>Is is possible to export your Microsoft Money data into a QIF
file and then import that data into Moneydance. You can do so
following the instructions on <a href="https://infinitekind.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/200684598-Moving-from-MS-Money-to-Moneydance">
this page</a>. Please be aware that importing data from Microsoft
Money can be quite challenging. You will need to be very careful in
following the instructions. Even if you get things right, you may
need to invest considerable time making adjustments to clean up the
import. If may be better to continue to keep Microsoft Money on
your computer to refer to your historical data and then create a
new data file in Moneydance and pick a specific date to set initial
balances on.</p>
<p>Have you had a chance to look through the Moneydance User's
Guide? If you haven't already, then I highly recommend checking it
out. You can find our user's guide on <a href="http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/user-guides/moneydance-2015-user-guide">
this page</a>.</p>
<p>I also recommend checking out our <a href="http://help.infinitekind.com/kb">Knowledge Base</a>. There you
will be able to find many helpful articles about the various
aspects of using Moneydance.</p>
<p>As far as customized reports. Moneydance should be capable of
what you want to accomplish. If you have several rental properties
and have all the rental income crediting the same income category
in Moneydance you can then add tags to each transaction to specify
which property the income came from. Then you can run a customized
report that will only pull up transactions for the specific tag</p>
<p>Please let us know if we can be of further assistance, and thank
you for your interest in Moneydance!</p>

suggestions and try out the program. Aixza B.
