Report Needed
Hi,
I'm considering switching to Moneydance from Quicken 2007. One thing I need is a report which will sum up all the activity within selected categories across different accounts. So for example I may have some transactions both deposits and withdrawals from a category from funds in two different savings accounts. I need to see a summary of how much is in that particular category. Is there a Moneydance report that will do this?

Have a look at the the two Income & Expense Reports one is just a summary and gives category totals the other also shows the individual items in each category.
I would suggest you download and Test drive Moneydance in trial mode, the only limitation is a 100 manually entered transaction limit, this should give you a feel if Moneydance is right for you.
