Unable to import quicken data QIF. tried the fixes that were posted
Error reading file: Java .lang.NullPointer Exception that's it tried some suggestion nothing works. Help I downloaded the windows 64 bit version and I run Windows 10 with the Anniversity updates. You sure this works on windows 10 ?

Hi,
Sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered. Can you confirm that you've tried to select 'Create New Account Set' from the 'Welcome to Moneydance' window (as seen here). Then followed these steps to import from within the Moneydance register?
If this doesn't help could you try upgrading to the latest preview version of the program to see if that resolves the issue? The preview version is 2017.1 build 1593, and can be downloaded from here.

Good and bad news
first the good news I created a new account and then imported the Export quicken file . It then imported all the quicken accounts going back to 2001. Ugh. However the only account with transaction data is my current checking account with Schwab. It looks good. I only want transaction data for 3 more accounts another checking, and two investments one IRA and one personal .
