Trying out Moneydance
I'm trying to import QIF files that I exported from another software I'm testing, and it won't let me import those transactions. I'm using the "trial version", and I'm thinking it won't let me import as I believe I can only enter manually with the trial software. Can anyone confirm if my assumption is correct? Thanks, Mike

Sorry your assumption is incorrect, the only limitation is a 100 manually entered transaction in trial mode.
However some builds of MD 2017 do have a bug in the import function on the welcome screen, so instead of what you are doing try to Create a New account set, once that is done and you are in the set use the File --> Import menu option to bring in your QIF data.

Thank you. I seem to have them importing now, and will import all my transactions and delete the old accounts that don't work.
One other question... I read a review that Moneydance will not download credit card transactions, but it was an older review. Is this still the case, or has that been added?
Thank you!

Moneydance has no trouble downloading credit card transactions, provided of course that your bank or financial institution offers this service. If your bank does not offer the service it is still possible to manually download and import transaction files.
