1) File > Preferences > General tab > There's a setting
there to increase the contrast. Prior versions of Moneydance
allowed for user-defined colors for the Home Page, registers and
future txns. This very useful and very well liked option was
removed from MD 2015.

2) As you 'Confirm' more txns, Moneydance will 'learn' the
desired correlation between Payee and Category. Also look to the
'Similar Payee' section of the Confirmation sidebar for the desired
coupling.

3) I'm not sure that I understand this question. There are
different currencies and exchange rates available. You can also
create your own currency.

4) IMO Reports in Moneydance have always lagged MS Money's but
there have been some nice improvements of late.

5) I'm not from the UK so I can't speak to a Sort Code.

6) UK banks apparently do not cooperate in providing OFX
servers. Moneydance uses direct-connect thru OFX servers to
automatically download txns. You can of course manually download
txns from your financial institution's website. Moneydance can
import OFX, OFC, QIF & QFX file formats. It can also import CSV
file formats thru the use of one of two available extensions.

Finally, take a look at this post if you are still interested in
maintaining MS Money on Win 10. I personally have not tried this
workaround yet as Win 10 broke too many important programs that I
use and I reverted back to Win 7.
