I need help with the install
I need to talk to someone. You 2015 user guide is not helping. I have 2017.

I'm not from Support, but have you taken a look at the "Getting Started" Guides?

If that's not helpful, could you give additional information as to what you're having trouble with.

Infinite Kind does not provide Telephone support, they are a relatively small company and the product is sold world wide making Telephone support unviable, generally only the largest of companies are able to provide world wide Telephone support.
You will need to use the forum/email support that is available. I would suggest you start by advising what operating system you are using and what issue you are facing including any error messages received, installing Moneydance is not usually problematic or difficult. I would assume you are trying to install the latest Version i.e. Moneydance 2017

Thank you Tony. I had no problem with the actual install, but with importing a quicken qif file. It imported , but the data was so wrong I decided to give up & start anew.

I really didn’t have a problem with the install. I tried to import data from Quicken & it was very wrong. I can live with just starting anew. So I tried deleting all accounts, but that left the base account. So I unstalled & reinstalled and it’s still there. So I re started unstalled & restarted my PC & installed moneydance again. It’s still there! How do I get rid of this & start anew?

The program and the data are held separately so deinstalling and reinstalling the program has no effect on the data at all.To give an example, with a word processor you would not expect deinstalling and reinstalling would delete all of your documents, its the same with Moneydance.
To create a new data set use the menu option File --> New
If you want to work on getting your QIF data imported you need to give some idea of what went wrong and what problems you have encountered, some problems are routing some are not, QIF was never intended to be a migration tool so some problems are to be expected.
