I bought MD, have transferred everything from Q17 in a QIF file. It seems securities and holdings do not transfer. I set up online banking and downloaded and discrete transactions like dividends transferred, but no holdings for the securities. I can see how to manually enter each security and its holdings. But, am I doomed to go to a long list of securities and manually enter each one? Many of these are bonds so will MD retrieve the bond info using the unique ticker symbol? This is going to be a massive effort if I must enter each security manually to get my correct net worth.
I apologize for such an elementary question, but I have already spent hours getting my accounts set up and reconciled; I cannot spend more hours searching the discussions for the exact issue.
