There are detailed instructions here:

I encourage you to attempt the import with the fully functional
free trial before making a purchase. You can download the trial
from here:
importing. Will it work to import in the trial. It appeared to
begin the download but then the window disappeared and I am
uncertain if it just crashed or if it is still downloading the QIF
file, there doesn't appear to be any status indicated.

desertmulestag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/383485622015-11-05T00:52:39Z2015-11-07T22:02:32ZQuicken

Hi,

You should be able to import using the trial version. Can you
restart the import process and get us your console logs? Here's how
to get the logs:

1) In Moneydance, click on the Help menu and select the
Console Window option. This will open the console messages
window.
2) While the Console Window is open, attempt to import your QIF
file. Any error messages should be recorded to the
Console.
3) Select all of the text in the Console and use the "Copy to
Clipboard" button at the bottom to copy the text.
4) Paste the text from the message window into a text file
(preferably saved with a .txt extension) and attach that file to
your response here.

The debugging logs that this produces could contain
your account information. I've made sure that this
conversation is private, so the info won't be broadcast to the
world, but just to be safe you should redact any account info in
the debug logs. Just replace it with something like "ACCOUNT
NUMBER HERE" and it should be fine.

Thanks!

online or to the email. Will try the email first since it says
“reply above this line”. There was report in the
console so I am attaching it.

desertmulestag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/383485622015-11-05T17:59:04Z2015-11-07T22:02:32ZQuicken

Hi Terrye,

It looks like the import went properly from the logs you sent.
Is Moneydance opening properly? Is your data showing up in
Moneydance?

for me but since this email I tried again and finally it is there.
Yesterday I could not get anything at all to appear. It all looks
correct too. I have got to make a change from Quicken because their
latest snafus are driving me crazy.

The only problem I may have is with downloading from my credit
union, will have to look into it and make sure I can do that. I
wanted to get a feel for this program before making the final jump,
thus far I like what I see. My needs are relatively simple compared
to many others so this program may be what I need.

If I decide to finally purchase am I better off going through
the Apple app store or can I possibly find a coupon code or
something elsewhere?

desertmulestag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/383485622015-11-05T18:57:02Z2015-11-07T22:02:32ZQuicken

I'm not Terrye - guess I hijacked his thread, sorry. I did reply
to you via email again to report that after some difficulty opening
the program it finally did so and all looks good.

Thanks,
