'Lifetime Planner' module/feature
Hi! I'm a long-time quicken user, and am frustrated with the pace and quality of development. But I am one of those odd people who think the Lifetime Planner in Quicken is one of the primary differentiators - using current savings, investment, data and a few assumptions to model retirement goals and projected income and cash flow. I find it very interesting to be able to model what small changes in investment/savings behavior can do to move the needle - moving potential retirement by years - but making it easy by using your actual data at the time. It's amazingly powerful and no one but Quicken does it -(except investment sites but they don't house all of your data so it is a lot of work to repeat) - although honestly it does not seem like it would be that complicated to put together.
Is there any chance you may be looking in to doing that? I know you must always NEVER get this request - but honestly if I think you had it people would love it.. It wouldn't be buried under 30 years of legacy features that were developed just to get people to upgrade...
Thanks!

Hi Brian,
I'm terribly sorry for our delayed response! Somehow your inquiry slipped through the cracks.
Thanks for the suggestion for improving Moneydance! I've passed your feedback onto the developers for consideration.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!
