Opening new account
What is the right way to start an account? I started one and it is listed as "Base" and I can't delete it.

Hi Thomas,
'Base' is likely the name that you gave to your data file. This 'base' account should be considered as your 'financial world'. I really serves no other purpose than as a holder of your individual accounts. e.g. Bank, Checking, Credit Card, Investment, etc.
If you want to delete the 'Base' account (data file), you must delete the actual data file. See the following Moneydance KB article:
