How do I open a file from dropbox that was created on a desktop with MoneyDance?

Hi Barry,
Are you trying to move your data to multiple computers?
You can run Moneydance on multiple machines using the license key you were provided with when you purchased Moneydance.
If you want your Moneydance data on both computers, you have to share your data set between them. You can do this via a Dropbox folder or any other shared network folder, however it's important to only open the data set on one computer at a time to avoid corruption. Here are instructions for moving and opening your data set -

Please note that you will need to use the version of Moneydance purchased directly from our website for this to work, not from a third-party source such as the Mac App Store.
