Sync import error "No synced documents were found"
I'm trying to use syncing. I use the File -> Syncing... option to export a sync to a Shared Folder. The process seems to work correctly. Then I try to import the sync with File -> New... -> Open Synced File, select Shared Folder, Connect, navigate to the synced folder, click OK, then click Connect. The dialog says "Finding syncable files...", but then says "No synced documents were found".
What am I doing wrong?
I'm using version 2017.6 (1645) on Fedora Linux. I have the same issue running 2017.5 on a Windows 10 laptop.
Thanks in advance!

I am not support staff, just a user.
Windows 7 and windows 10 laptops. Moneydance 2017.6(1645)
I use Dropbox Folder as my syncing method without any issues.
However, after reading your post and as I have OneDrive I decided to test Shared Folder.
It works for me.
The only way I could get the message “"No synced documents were found" was go into the folder I had set up on OneDrive rather than staying at the folder level. So, it’s the folder you set up to sync, rather than the folders Moneydance has created that should be selected to open.
Hope this helps.
