PROBLEM SYNC BETWEEN COMPUTERS
Hi,
I have used moneydance since 2017, and I have a big file. I now have 2 computers with Version 2019.3 (1880) with the same file and everything synced through dropbox shared folder. But, I want to share it with 3 more computers to the same file, and i downloaded the 2022 version, the transactions synced perfect but, the categories won't sync as equal as the 2 main computers, it appears a long a restored sentence with numbers and letters.

You need to rebuild your sync from scratch.
Install same 2022 version everywhere.
Set Sync to Don’t sync everywhere. Exit all MDs.
On primary. Install toolbox extension. Hacker mode. Hacker menu. Force reset sync settings.
Then set your MD sync to the settings you want. Wait. Wait for sync to complete.
Now on each other MD do file/new/open sync copy and select the new sync you setup.

Do I need to set my primary MD from backup or from Dropbox ?
Because i did a backup before downloading the 2022 version and I also
should have de info in my dropbox shared folder. But, I updated one version
a couple of years ago and lost the attached files to every transaction,
that is why I am asking?

I would start by restoring your most recent and best backup (not from Dropbox). Open in MD2022 and then use that as the primary.

One last question: my primary MD already synced perfectly and all the
attachments are perfect as well. But the other computers can open the
transaction attachments.

Then i already synced the other computers but i am Not able to open

Can you explain what you’ve done so far with regards to fixing your sync?
Also I’m concerned your attachments might be taking a lot of space. Can you run toolbox analyse dataset and post the output here (as a txt file)?

Hi,
Two of my secondary MD are syncing between them but won't open old
transaction attachments. And my primary MD is not syncing with the
secondary and I am able to open old attachments.
Please Help My whole office is going crazy..

WOW - 6GB and 48k attachments.... I would suggest that something in your sync is screwed up and it's either taking time, or your sync folder is full, or something.
I would suggest that @support should be jumping in here and offering to dial into your computer to fix....
