Hi Blair

I sync 4 data sets between 3 computers, 2 windows 1 Linux and 2 Android phones using Moneydance’s internal sync engine. Add a transaction on one device and it appears on the other devices within 60 seconds. Trying to share data sets using any other method can result in data corruption.

To set up syncing using Moneydance’s sync engine see support articles at https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/syncing-and-sharing-data

Hope this helps

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/496781722022-01-20T19:11:56Z2022-01-20T19:11:56Zsync more than one data file

Many thanks... I was able to get it to go. I'm using NextCloud

Hi Blair

I am not familiar with NextCloud. I have only tested using Moneydance’s internal sync engine via Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive. Box.com and pCloud. Provided you are using NextCloud via Moneydance’s internal Sync engine it should be OK. Whatever you do don’t share Moneydance’s data set directly via NextCloud. The way Moneydance save/reads data means that doing so will eventually result in data corruption.

Hope this helps.

derekkent23
