Android versions unable to sync with Dropbox
This happens recently. Moneydance Android versions no longer sync with Dropbox. IOS and Mac OS are working well with Dropbox. Will there be updates coming for the Android version.

Hi Hendric
Go to https://infinitekind.com/preview
Click on Android Beta Signup
Once you are set up as a tester you should be able to uninstall the current Android Moneydance app and install the beta just by going to Play Store and searching for Moneydance. It may take some time for Play Store to register you have switched to a beta tester.
Also you should note Sean has only just released the new beta and it can take google a few days to approve and load the new app.
So if it states last updated 14 Jun 2021 then the new beta is not yet available.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Unfortunately there was an update to Dropbox that interfered with the syncing process for Android devices. We believe we have fixed the issue, and released a new test version on our Android beta channel. If you would like to test the beta, you can sign up to download it on our preview page: http://infinitekind.com/preview
Assuming it resolves the syncing issue for those who test it, we will then send it out as an update to the main release. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
Ethan

I have the 2022.1 version of the android app on my Samsung phone, and it synced last weekend, but now I have a sync problem again. The android app acts like it is syncing, but the data is not getting to my Windows computer MoneyDance.
I disconnect the computer MoneyDance from dropbox sync, and re-connected, but that didn't seem to get the new entries from my android.
Is there anyway to tell the computer program to do a sync now?
Is there anyway to see when the program has done a sync, and what results? Aside from seeing new transactions and such.

Hi Ray
What version an build of Moneydance are you running on your computer, e.g. 2022.4(4078)?
Which sync method are you using Dropbox Folder or Dropbox Connection?

MoneyDance version 2022.3 (4077)
I didn't notice a version .4; maybe I need to download upgrade?
and Dropbox Connection.

Hi Ray
2022.4(4078) is a preview build at https://infinitekind.com/preview and fixes a few bugs in 2022.3(4077) but none relating to syncing as far as I know.
I am running 2022.4(4078) on 3 windows and 1 Linux computer, syncing these, as well as 2 Android phones running 2022.1 No problems.
I would suggest you reset syncing and using the sync method Dropbox Folder ensuring you have installed Dropbox client in the default location. That is you can see the Dropbox folder on your computer. C:\Users\users_name\Dropbox
Hope this helps.
