Not Synchronizing
Hi:
Since some weeks ago the information in my Iphone didn't synchronized with the latest info in my MacBook.
Today I deleted the app from my Iphone and reinstalled it again. It works but there is only old information (04/13/2022) and I have worked today.

I have te same problem.
I use an iPhone syncing with windows. My moneydance is 2017.
I didn't delete the app because I have many information in the app waiting for sync. And I have many information in my PC waiting for been syncing with the iPhone.
On 3 weeks I was using only the iphone app and my wife was using the PC. Now I have identified that they have not been synced in these weeks.
I don't like delete any of them and work it again.

I'm a fellow user.
There have been a number of reports of syncing problems between Moneydance 2017 and the iPhone mobile app.
At the moment we do not have an indication of why this is happening.
I have provided a pointer to the developer of this thread for his attention.

If you are using 2017 with Dropbox Connection and if you are seeing :
in Help/Show Console, then it's because Dropbox have cut off the connection for the old SKD/Protocol being used. There are two solutions:
1. Upgrade MD (best option)
2. Switch to Dropbox Folders in Mondeydance/File/Syncing.

I just changed the synchronization to "Dropbox folder" instead of "Dropbox
Connection" and It worked. Thank you...

In Mondeydance/File/Syncing I read "Dropbox connection" but I can't see how change to "Dropbox folder". Please see (MD Sync.png attached file)
How may I Switch to "Dropbox Folders"?

No. In my MD versión, there is no a selection method like in your images.
Please watch my image again.
I tried to select it and nothing happen.
Only when installed ask me it. After that, doesn't let me to change it

I suspect you are using a secondary sync'd dataset. Where is the master/primary? Pls either upgrade... or if you want to try to fix...
BACKUP FIRST. The procedure below will reset sync... i.e. the computer's dataset will become the primary and you will have to set up your phone sync again.
download this zip. Unzip..
Window/Moneybot
Open. Show_sync_settings.py. Click RUN
Copy the console output below...
Then repeat the same for the other script reset_sync_settings.py
copy console.
Post results here.
Restart MD
Now try to setup sync again..

I did all your instructions.
A have attached the files thay yous ask me.
I have re-configured the sync method to FOLDER. It synced 9 files, but it continous no syncing . I made changes in MD app or MD PC, and I see that the dropbox icon indicate that were changes on dropbox folders. But it continous without syncing.

I see you ran my reset script.. It worked. It wiped out your old settings and your dataset is now a primary dataset with the ID 'eb63dea7-8d43-48ed-9864-8186bc1d7ff0'
I also see that you have transactions in your iPhone waiting to sync... Well I am afraid that these will never sync back to the primary now that you have reset sync.
Please restart MD. Disable syncing. Quit MD.
Find dropbox folder and delete the .moneydancesync folder
Restart MD. Reenable Syncing as Dropbox Folders....
On the iPhone, MD app, click the settings cog (bottom left). Click dropbox disconnect and disconnect.... Now exit and delete the app. Reinstall the app. Now connect to dropbox...
