It works fine on Linux, Intel iMac and iphone and ipad, but not on new M1 Macbook Air.

I found a possible solution to this. From a working 2022 version on Linux I created a backup. I copied the backup to the M! and restored it giving it a new name.
Then I restored the backup back on the Linux system giving it the identical name. They both appear to be syncing correctly.

    Hi Pete,
I'm very pleased to hear that you seem to have resolved the problem.

Generally, in order to add a new computer to an existing sync set up, you should launch Moneydance (from the new computer) an navigate to Moneydance->New->Open Synced File. Finally, select the same sync method and the same passphrase as your primary computer (where you started the process initially).

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.
