Hi Rodney
For others to be able to help you will need to provide more information.
What version of Moneydance are you running on both computers e.g. 2022.5(4088)
One of your computers is Windows 7 32bit or 64bit?
What is the operating system on the other computer?
Does Moneydance open and run on both computers?
Have you installed Dropbox client on both computers and are they both the same Dropbox account?
Have you tested that Dropbox is working say by saving a word file on one computer and opening it on the other computer?
What Moneydance sync method are you using, Dropbox Folder or Dropbox Connection.
When you set up syncing on your first computer, primary computer under FILES – SYNCING does it appear to work.
When you set up syncing on your second computer secondary computer, FILE – NEW - OPEN SYNCED FILE what happens.
On both computers under HELP click CONSOLE WINDOW – save and save a copy of both windows and post.
Provide any error messages etc that you see.

Hi Derek,
Â
Thanks for your interest.
Â
Both computers are using Moneydance Version 2019.3 (1880)
The old ASUS windows 7 is a 64 bit operating system, as is the ACER computer
using Windows 10
Moneydance opens and runs on both computers, with the same client and I have
transferred files across the two computers before, using Dropbox.
I am using Dropbox Folder as sync.
I cannot find FILES â SYNCING
Â
At present I cannot use the Chrome Browser . When accessing websites, the
message comes âThis site cannot provide a secure connectionâ Yesterday it was
ok..Today not.
Â
I cannot see Console Window under Help to save a copy.
Â
Best wishes
Rodney King

Hi Rodney
Assuming you purchased Moneydance from this site the first thing to do is update Moneydance to 2020.2(1929) on both computers as this is a free update to you from https://infinitekind.com/download_2020
Just tested the above site using my Chrome Browser without issue, so you need to fix the browser or try a different browser.
After upgrade try to find Console Window under HELP and Syncing under FILES.
If you can see them try setting up syncing again.
Hope this helps
