Hello. Apologies if this already a live issue. I could not find mention of it. Just upgraded to 2021 (2006) on mac. If I attempt to open a memorised Income and Expenses report MoneyDance immediately crashes. Net Worth reports work okay. I have created a new memorised report and both this and reports made prior to upgrade crash the program. PLEASE HELP !

    Hi Andy

No problems on Windows 10 Moneydance 2021(2006).
Perhaps another Mac user could test.

Thanks Derek for the speedy reply. I’m glad you’re in a good place.

Are there any Mac users out there with this problem?

    Hi Andy,

I have MD 2021 (2006) running on x2 MacBooks of different vintage, both running Catalina 10.15.7 & my memorised Income Expense Reports old & new run without any issues.

I have been involved with testing the beta releases prior to this current final release version. Other things had caused lock ups, mainly related to Dropbox Connection syncing & the MoneyBot Console, but these have been fixed in the betas prior to this release, but nothing related to memorised I &E reports.

Perhaps your error log will show up something specific to your situation.

    Fellow Mac user

I am having the same issue. MD crashes when attempting to access any menu items as well. Not sure what parts of the error log would be useful, but here is some general info and the thread which seemed to crash:

It appears the issue has to do with an external monitor. After unplugging the monitor I had no issues. Assigning MD to the laptop display has no issues. If MD is running on the external monitor it seems anything which opens a new window crashes. Workaround for now is to keep MD on the laptop display.

I found this discussion which helped figure it out:

I have a 2 screen setup on my Mac and I frequently have 2 accounts open, one on each screen. After updating to 2021(2006) MD crashes when dragging an account to the secondary screen. It seems stable if I only use primary screen. Would be very helpful to again allow multiscreen for MD! Thanks.

Agreed. Multi-screen is definitely the issue here. And it would be great to see this fixed.
