Report Actual Numbers Wrong in 2 Accounts

When I do a Budget Report, 2 budget categories Actual are overstated. One is an Income account which is over-stated, and one is an Expense account that is overstated (Income is overstated by $3,500 and Expense is overstated by the same amount). How can I make an Adjusting Journal Entry to correct this problem for the current year? Thanks for your consideration. Stephen
