Would it be possible to add Forum Credit Union, based in Indianapolis, IN?
If so, could you let me know when it is added?.
Thanks.

    Chris,

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that Forum Credit Union supports direct OFX connections, which Moneydance (and other financial software) requires in order to talk directly to a bank. The best way to get your transactions into Moneydance is to use a web browser to download them from your bank's web site. You can download into QIF, QFX, OFX or OFC files (aka Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance.

If your bank begins to support direct OFX connections in the future, we will be happy to work with them.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance.

    Angie,
According to this post from a mint forum, it does support it.

To connect mint.com to your Forum accounts you must have at some point
logged into the non flash version of CU Online and setup security
questions, mint will use these to access your account. If you have not
done so yet please follow this link and setup your security questions.

Once this is done the process should work normally.

    Chris,

Quicken and Money (as well as Mint and some other personal finance software) support two methods of accessing your accounts: direct connect and web connect. With web connect, they basically connect to your bank's website and download and import OFX, QFX, QIF, and OFC files. Direct connect actually connects to a server at your bank instead of their website and usually requires different login credentials than you would use to log into your banks website. Moneydance only supports automatic connections through direct connect and not web connect.

We are looking into the possibility of offering web connect but its all a bit of a daunting process, especially determining a method that meets our high standards of quality and security. We have a tentative plan and rough timeline, and hope to be able to implement this service in the next year or so. We will keep the Moneydance community updated about new developments in web connect for Moneydance.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
