When I tried to import my stock portfolio using the Quicken export extension, my buys & sells become corrupted. I decided to download using .csv. I also downloaded MD's Text file importer extension, however, this extension does not allow me to import the .csv data into my Stock account. My only options are to import them into my bank accounts and that is not what I want.

I'm guessing my other option is to use Quicken export and go down each transaction and fix the buys and the sells.

Just as an addendum, the problem with using the Quicken download from Scottrade is that when the security is a sell, the action shows a Buy and the check# shows a Sell; whereas in buys, the action is a Buy and the check# shows a Buy.

I'm not able to use Batch to change all the Sell records because the check# is not an option.

    Naz,

I'm sorry to say that the text file importer extension does not work with investment accounts because of the differences in transaction formatting between bank and investment accounts. I'm sorry to say I think you will need to alter each transaction individually. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
