Saving and restoring files from a flash drive

Once upon a time, old forms of Moneydance allowed saving to and from USB drtives by a simple click or two. Now the facility seems unavailable and ity's a nightmare to try to import or export files. Any suggestions, please

Hello,
What version of Moneydance are you using? If you are using the latest version of Moneydance 2015, you should be able to use the File -> Export Backup option to create a copy of the data file you have open. You can then open that backup by the File -> Restore from Backup option.
