After spending a considerable amount of time reading through the various threads I'm beginning to lean towards Moneydance as the tool that will fill my needs ... a few questions/.comments:

Long time Quicken for Windows user and used in on the Mac for a number of years via VM Ware but was forced to find an alternative when Intuit stopped supporting ... switched to iBank a year ago and have been very disappointed in basic reporting, issues with downloading from various financial institutions and issues with dual reporting of electronic payments ...

That said, I plan to download the trial version of MD ... what should I keep my eyes open for/be aware of when importing from iBank ... any show stoppers?

Thanks so much, Steve

    Steve,

To the best of my knowledge there aren't any show-stoppers in transitioning from iBank, but as it's a less popular piece of software we don't have as much data on that process as we do on transitioning from a program like Quicken. I'd suggest giving the trial a whirl, and if you have any problems let us know and we'll work on getting them smoothed out.
