Downloaded Transactions Do Not Merge

I like to enter my transactions near when they happen. Subsquently I will download transactions from the bank. I am finding there is no effort to merge the downloaded transaction with my manual entry of the same transaction. Thus, I end up with a duplicate and have to delete my original entry. Is this going to be improved? I never really had this issue with Banktivity and Quicken.

Hi Rich,
It has been my experience that the Date plays a major role in allowing transactions to merge. Are the Dates of your manually and downloaded transactions the same?
An option that I find helpful is in Preferences on the Network tab. Checkmark the option to 'Automatically Merge Downloaded Transactions'.
