writing checks

How do you write a check to be printed in Moneydance? In Quicken you used ctrl w and a dialogue box popped up and you filled in the date, then printed the check. How do you do this in Moneydance?

I had read that article and found out that if I say next check number it
didn't print. I had to put <print> in the space instead. Then it would
print. Did you have the same problem?

I do not personally use Cheque printing.
The <next Check#> is an instruction to the software just to use the next cheque number in the sequence being used, it is not related to printing.
The {Print} instruction is what determines the cheques that are to be printed.
