My Quote Loader extension no longer imports stock prices with Yahoo. I tried switching to FT for imports and it worked for most of my stocks except one that imported to a different currency (NOK instead of U.S. dollar)

If you provide the details of the stock that is not reporting the right currency I suspect that Derek will see if he can work it out for you, he does most of the General Quote Loader questions on stock look ups.

    Hi Terry

As dwg has posted I will try to help.

Any Securities that return an error or wrong currency with FT as the source then post your base currency, the Ticker, full Security Name and last price you have and its traded currency or just post a screen shot of the Quote Loader windows after you click GET PRICES.

If you have not already it may be worth taking a look at the following.
For information on the features of this extension and how to use see post 67 at https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/discussions/investments/7595-quo...

Download the PDF’s attached to post 67 and have a read.

To get an overview take a look at the YouTube videos by using the links on page 1 and 2 of the PDF.

The Quick Start Video is intended to give a quick overview so the user can see if Quite loader looks like it could work for them. The Short Video expands the user’s knowledge giving more detail. The Full Video goes even further but may be to wordy for some.

The PDF reinforces what’s leaned in the videos, provides step by step instructions, a must read and provide answers on how to handle less obvious issues some users may come across.

    Have Fun, Stay Safe.

Stock ticker symbol that won’t import in expected currency (U.S. Dollars) is SCHA.

    Hi Terry

Select FT as the source and type in SCHA:PCQ:USD in the Alt Ticker field. See screen shot.

    Hope this helps

I have a similar issue. Most of my securities use FT, but there are a handful where I've needed to use Yahoo. For some reason, Yahoo doesn't work anymore and I can't get data from FT.

GOOG - (NasdaqGS, USD) Always returns $0 as the price, actual is $159 (I also hold GOOGL which downloads from FT just fine)
NVO - (NYSE, USD) Returns a price that is way off - as of today, FT returns $0.14 when the actual price is $126
PSN - (NYSE, USD) Invalid results - $25 per share (FT), $80 (actual)

I'm using QuoteLoader 3204, and Moneydance 2024. This was also an issue in previous versions of both QL and MD, which is why I was using Yahoo for these securities.

    Thoughts?
