Archive - Printing addresses on checks

To print a payee's address on a check, follow these steps:

1) Add the payee and address to the Moneydance address Book. Go to the Tools menu, select the Address Book option, and then Add, Edit, or Delete payees

2) When entering your check into the register, use {Print} in the Check number field, and the address book entry in the Description field. Use the up/down arrow keys in the Description field to navigate to the address book entries, which are prefaced by a green @ sign.


3) Set your check printing preferences. First open Preferences (under the Moneydance menu on a Mac, or the File menu on other operating systems), then click on the "Check Printing" tab. Make sure you've checked the "Show Address" box . You may need to scroll down to see this option. Now print your checks and you're done!
